What the day looks like

A private vehicle and a guide for your group only, for about ten hours. It starts like our best seller — sunrise in the valley — and then it becomes your day: you choose the stops, the pace and how long you walk, and we add the experiences that only work in private: the authentic Witches’ Market, a visit to the Yatiris when the day allows it, and as much of Mi Teleférico as you like. All entrances included.

1. You choose
   Pickup at your hotel

   Sunrise is what we recommend — 5:30 am — but it is your adventure and your alarm clock. Box breakfast in the vehicle.

2. +45 min
   Valle de las Ánimas, your way

   First light from the ridge, then as much walking as you want: the short loop, the ridge viewpoint, or the full 10 km circuit. In the dry season we drive right into the middle of the valley. Nobody is checking a watch.

3. Optional
   Valle de la Luna

   An hour on the boardwalk — or skip it and spend that hour among the taller spires you just walked.

4. Your call
   The real Witches’ Market and the Yatiris

   Not the one on the tourist street. The market where people from La Paz actually buy their offerings, and — if the day allows it — a visit to the Andean shamans, the Yatiris. These are hard places to reach even for locals; with your guide from here, they open up. Worth it.

5. Your pace
   The city from above

   Killi Killi viewpoint, then Mi Teleférico: one line, or two or three, crossing the whole bowl of the city and up to El Alto. The historic center on foot, lunch where you like.

6. When you say
   Return

   Back to your hotel, or wherever the day should end.

Walking: As much or as little as you want: from the short loop to the full 10 km circuit. The city part is on foot and by cable car.

Price by group size

Per person, in USD. The vehicle and the guide are yours alone — the more of you, the less each pays.

Bring

• Sun protection — hat, glasses, SPF 50
• Closed shoes with grip
• A windproof layer: it is cold at 5:30 am
• Your camera (drone? tell us — we clear it with the community first)
• Passport or a photo of it
• Cash for lunch and tips
• An empty bladder: there are no toilets in the valley; we stop 10 minutes before

Booking, payment and cancellation

• Book up to 12 hours before departure. Sales answer 9 am – 3 pm, every day; operations run 24 h for confirmed passengers.
• Pay by PayPal, credit or debit card (Stripe), WeTravel, crypto, or cash in La Paz.
• Travel insurance is required on every tour: our vehicles carry SOAT, Bolivia’s mandatory traffic-accident insurance, which covers accidents involving the vehicle only. All tours are easy to moderate with short trails — but the mountains are the mountains.
• You pay the full amount when you book, and your booking is confirmed instantly. Shared departures run with a minimum of 2 passengers — if yours is the only booking, we will tell you as early as possible and offer a new date, a private tour, or a full refund.
• Change your date for free up to 3:00 pm the day before the tour.
• Cancel within 24 hours of booking for a full refund, for any reason — as long as it is before 3:00 pm the day before the tour.
• Cancel up to 3:00 pm the day before for a 70% refund (30% administration fee). After that, or if you do not show up, there is no refund: everything is reserved for you and the seat cannot be resold.
• If we cancel — weather, safety or force majeure — you choose a new date or a full refund.
