The first name on this page. Richard drives the Jetour: he is the one at your hotel door at 5:30 am, the one who knows where the road into the valley gets loose after rain, and the one who waits with the vehicle warm while you walk between the spires.

Checked before every departure.
Bolivia’s mandatory traffic-accident cover, current on every vehicle. Travel insurance is required for every passenger.
One traveler per seat; children in the back. We never overload a vehicle, whatever the group says.
Honest note
The grey pickup that appears in some of our older valley photos is not ours. We can rent it for larger groups, and when we do we say so — we never present a rented vehicle as part of the fleet. New vehicles are added to this page the day they are registered, not before.
